Outcome
Atlantis launched from Launch Complex 39A on July 8, 2011, docked with the International Space Station on July 10, and delivered the Raffaello logistics module carrying supplies, spare parts, food, and equipment to sustain station operations after Shuttle retirement. The crew also supported delivery of the Robotic Refueling Mission and returned a failed ammonia pump module for engineering analysis. STS-135 departed the station on July 19 and landed on Runway 15 at Kennedy Space Center Shuttle Landing Facility on July 21, 2011, closing the 30-year Space Shuttle flight program.
