STS-69

STS-69 was a Space Shuttle Endeavour mission flown in September 1995. The crew deployed and retrieved both SPARTAN 201-03 and Wake Shield Facility-2, the first Shuttle mission to deploy and retrieve two different free-flying payloads. Voss and Gernhardt also performed a six-hour, forty-six-minute spacewalk to evaluate tools, suit improvements, and assembly techniques for future International Space Station work.
