SWOT Mission

NASA Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) is an active international Earth-observation program launched on 16 December 2022. Jointly developed and managed by NASA and Frances CNES, with contributions from the Canadian Space Agency and UK Space Agency, SWOT makes a global survey of Earths surface water, measuring ocean-surface topography and changes in lakes, rivers, reservoirs, wetlands, and other water bodies.
