Tiangong-1 was China’s first experimental space laboratory and rendezvous-and-docking testbed. Launched on September 29, 2011 aboard the modified Long March 2F/T1 from Jiuquan, it supported six Shenzhou docking operations, short crew stays, and space-science, medical, technology, and Earth-observation work before reentry in April 2018.
