Tianhe Core Module
Tianhe Core Module was the first module of China’s Tiangong Space Station and a foundational China Manned Space Program mission. Launched on April 29, 2021 aboard the Long March 5B Y2 from Wenchang, it provides integrated station control and management, long-duration crew support, space science and medicine experiments, and the platform for subsequent cargo, crew, and laboratory-module assembly missions.
