Tianzhou-1 was China’s first cargo-spacecraft mission and a Space Laboratory phase mission of the China Manned Space Program. Launched on April 20, 2017 aboard the Long March 7 Y2 from Wenchang, it demonstrated cargo transportation, autonomous rendezvous and docking, and in-orbit propellant refueling for Tiangong-2.
