Development was led by TÜBİTAK UZAY with TUSAŞ, ASELSAN and CTech, and Türksat is the satellite operator. The mission launched in July 2024, completed an initial test phase at 50° East and transferred to its final 42° East slot in December. Service commissioning followed on April 21, 2025. TStar-GO software supported spacecraft management, orbital manoeuvres and mission planning.
