Aéro-Club de France

The Aéro-Club de France is a French public-benefit aviation association founded in Paris in 1898 as the world's first national aero club. A founding member of the World Air Sports Federation (FAI) in 1905 and still France's active national member, it represents French air sport across international commissions, records, competitions, education, safety, medicine, environment, and astronautic records. The club also advances aviation and space heritage, innovation, public education, youth engagement, meetings, publications, prizes, medals, and preservation of the documentary and institutional history of flight.
