The Aircraft Owners and Operators Association of Zambia is an independent, nonpartisan aviation association representing private and commercial aircraft owners and operators, pilots, aviation professionals, and allied organizations. It works for a cost-efficient, appropriately compliant, and safety-conscious Zambian aviation sector through technical advocacy, regulator and airport engagement, member education, fly-ins, and pilot–air-traffic-controller cooperation. The association has participated in national civil-aviation strategy and stakeholder processes and has worked with the Zambia Civil Aviation Authority on aircraft rules, minor-aerodrome standards, search and rescue, facilitation, licensing, and other operational-safety issues.
