ASD-STAN

ASD-STAN is an independent Belgian international nonprofit association that develops, publishes, and maintains standards for the European aerospace industry. Its technical working groups cover aircraft and space-vehicle materials, components, electrical and mechanical systems, programme management, quality, certification, cabins, and digital engineering. As CEN’s associated body for aerospace, ASD-STAN prepares specifications that enter the European standardization process, while also issuing its own projected European Norms, European Aerospace Standards, and technical reports. The association evolved from AECMA-STAN and later separated from the AeroSpace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe as its own legal entity.
