The Asociación Argentina de Astronomía (AAA) is Argentina’s national nonprofit civil association for astronomy, astrophysics, and related sciences. Founded in 1958, it provides a professional forum for research exchange, supports scientific initiatives and young researchers, organizes an annual meeting and other specialist events, publishes the Boletín de la Asociación Argentina de Astronomía, recognizes research through national prizes, represents community interests before science institutions in Argentina and abroad, and promotes public understanding of astronomy. Its current work includes the 68th annual meeting in 2026, research awards and grants, participation in international astronomy coordination, and policy statements on scientific funding and the effects of satellite systems on the night sky.
