The Asociación Centroamericana de Aeronáutica y del Espacio (ACAE) is a Costa Rican nonprofit organization developing aerospace capability across Costa Rica and Central America. Founded in 2009, it connects professionals, students, industry, government, and universities through technical projects, research, policy advice, education, and public outreach. ACAE co-developed Proyecto Irazú, the first Costa Rican and Central American satellite, and continues to represent the region in international astronautics cooperation.
