Asociación Colombiana de Controladores de Tránsito Aéreo (ACDECTA)
The Asociación Colombiana de Controladores de Tránsito Aéreo (ACDECTA) is Colombia's national professional and union-character association for civilian air traffic controllers employed by Aerocivil, with retired controllers eligible as emeritus members. Established in 1976, it represents controllers' professional and employment interests, promotes technical education and new air-navigation procedures, supports member welfare, and advocates staffing and fatigue-management practices needed for safe operations. Colombian law gives ACDECTA representation on Aerocivil's Aviation Safety Council. Its headquarters is in the Centro Nacional de Aeronavegación in Bogotá.
