The Associação Brasileira de Geofísica Espacial e Aeronomia (SBGEA) is Brazil's private nonprofit scientific association for space geophysics and aeronomy. It brings together students, professors, and researchers; promotes research and international exchange; organizes scientific meetings, symposia, specialized congresses, conferences, and courses; publishes scientific and educational material; and supports public dissemination and specialist formation. Current first-party activity includes the 2025–2026 governance cycle, CNPq nominations, the XI Brazilian Symposium of Space Geophysics and Aeronomy scheduled for November 2026, and the 2026 Equatorial Plasma Bubbles workshop.
