Associated Universities, Inc. (AUI) is an independent nonprofit research-management organization that plans, builds, and operates major scientific user facilities. Its durable aerospace and space-science work includes managing U.S. radio-astronomy assets, leading the international ALMA Observatory partnership, operating the National Radio Astronomy Observatory and Green Bank Observatory under public agreements, and delivering astronomy research, engineering, education, and public engagement.
