Association of European Research Establishments in Aeronautics

The Association of European Research Establishments in Aeronautics (EREA) is a nonprofit European network of national aeronautics research establishments. Founded in 1994 and established as an association in 1999, EREA coordinates civil, military, and space-related aeronautics research, joint activities, technology and research-infrastructure cooperation, and engagement with European institutions, industry, and other research organizations. Its Future Sky, Technology and Research Infrastructures, and Defence Research groups support sustainable, climate-neutral, competitive, and strategically autonomous aviation; current work includes European aviation-strategy contributions, collaborative projects, annual events, research publications, patents, and researcher development.
