Association of Space Explorers
The Association of Space Explorers (ASE) is an international nonprofit professional and educational organization whose members have flown in Earth orbit. Established by astronauts and cosmonauts from several nations in 1984 and operating since its first Planetary Congress in 1985, ASE provides a global professional forum for spaceflight experience, crew safety, rescue, human performance, orbital debris and near-Earth-object issues. It also advances international cooperation, science and engineering education, peaceful exploration, and stewardship of Earth.
