Astronomical Society of Botswana

The Astronomical Society of Botswana (ASB) is Botswana's national nonprofit astronomy and space-science society. It brings together observers, astrophotographers, students, and educators through star parties, public observing, science outreach, astronomy talks, and dark-sky education, helping young people and the wider public engage with Botswana's exceptional night skies and the country's participation in African astronomical research. ASB is an IAU National Member and remains active from its Gaborone postal headquarters through current 2026 public astronomy programming.
