Australian Federation of Air Pilots (AFAP)

The Australian Federation of Air Pilots (AFAP) is a registered industrial organization and national professional association for Australian commercial pilots. Its lineage begins with the Australian Institute of Air Pilots and Navigators in 1938. Today it represents flight crew across airlines, helicopters, aeromedical services, agricultural aviation, search and rescue, general aviation, and flight instruction while advancing employment standards, professional welfare, technical expertise, and Australian and international aviation safety.
