The Australian Society of Air Safety Investigators (ASASI) is a national professional society for people involved in aircraft accident and incident investigation, safety analysis, and accident prevention. Formed in 1978, it promotes aviation safety through the exchange of investigative knowledge, experience, and technical information; supports professional education and networking; represents Australian investigators in international forums; publishes member information; and convenes conferences and training, including joint events with the New Zealand Society of Air Safety Investigators. ASASI is affiliated with the International Society of Air Safety Investigators.
