The Aviation Historical Society of Australia Inc. (AHSA) is a national not-for-profit historical and research society dedicated to recording, studying, preserving, and sharing Australia’s civil and military aviation heritage. Formed in Melbourne in 1959 and incorporated in Victoria in 1996, it supports original research and writing, preserves documents and artifacts, provides public and member forums, and connects aviation historians across Australia and overseas. AHSA publishes the quarterly journal Aviation Heritage and the newsletter Outlook, organizes meetings and visits, and presents the annual Duigan Memorial Lecture.
