B612 Foundation

B612 Foundation is a U.S. nonprofit founded in 2002 to develop tools and technologies that help humanity understand, map, and navigate the solar system and protect Earth from asteroid impacts. Its Asteroid Institute program brings together scientists, researchers, and engineers to find and track asteroids through astronomy, instrumentation, computer science, and open software including the ADAM platform and THOR; the Foundation also supports asteroid education through Asteroid Day and the Schweickart Prize. B612 reports its headquarters in Silicon Valley and publishes a current Mill Valley, California mailing address.
