bavAIRia e.V. manages Bavaria’s aerospace cluster on behalf of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy. The association connects companies, research institutions, universities and public partners across civil and military aviation, space and space-enabled applications. It helps members identify Bavarian technical capabilities, develop partnerships and improve international competitiveness through technology exchange, specialist forums, trade fairs, projects and market outreach. Its work also addresses financing and the skilled workforce. Current specialist contacts cover aviation, the Bavarian Drone Coordination Office, space applications and ESA and EU affairs. A public member directory, events calendar, job portal and tender information help users explore the regional ecosystem. The cluster office is on Friedrichshafener Straße in Gilching, beside Oberpfaffenhofen Airport.
