The Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute (CASI/IASC) is Canada's active nonprofit scientific and technical society for aeronautics, astronautics, Earth observation, remote sensing, and associated technologies. Founded in 1954 and renamed from the Canadian Aeronautical Institute in 1962, CASI advances aerospace knowledge through peer-reviewed publications, conferences, technical sections and branches, professional networking, awards, and scholarships. Its 2026 conference and current member and award activity continue its national role connecting Canadian aerospace professionals, researchers, students, industry, government, and academia.
