The Chinese Society of Astronautics (CSA) is a Beijing-registered, nongovernmental, nonprofit learned society for space science and technology in China. Founded in 1979, it connects individual and institutional members through technical committees, conferences, publications, research exchange, education, talent development, public outreach, think-tank work, and international cooperation. Its current programs span spacecraft systems, propulsion, guidance and navigation, human spaceflight, deep-space exploration, commercial spaceflight safety, and space education.
