Chinese Society of Space Research

The Chinese Society of Space Research (CSSR) is China's national, academic, nonprofit society for space science and technology, established in 1980. It convenes national and international space-science conferences, supports specialist committees spanning space physics, astronomy, Earth and planetary science, microgravity, space life science, remote sensing, and space-systems technology, publishes the Chinese Journal of Space Science jointly with the National Space Science Center, develops talent and public-science programs, and conducts current international cooperation and 2026 scientific activity.
