The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) is Australia’s national science agency and a durable partner in space and astronomy. Through its Space and Astronomy unit it operates national radio-astronomy facilities, spacecraft communications and tracking infrastructure including NASA’s Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex and ESA’s New Norcia station, supports Earth-observation and satellite missions, contributes to the SKA Observatory, and develops space-science, robotics, data, and engineering capabilities.
