Ethiopian Space Science Society (ESSS)

The Ethiopian Space Science Society (ESSS) is a national nonprofit membership organization advancing astronomy, space science, space technology, and their benefits for Ethiopia. Established in 2004, it connects professionals, institutions, students, and enthusiasts through regional branches and Space School Clubs. ESSS develops skills and research capacity, supports national space-policy and project development, organizes lectures, training, outreach, and youth programs, builds partnerships with Ethiopian and international institutions, and helps operate initiatives including observatory, planetarium, and mobile science-education projects.
