European Association of Remote Sensing Laboratories

The European Association of Remote Sensing Laboratories (EARSeL) is a nonprofit European scientific network of laboratories researching remotely sensed data from satellite and airborne platforms. EARSeL connects academic, public, and research laboratories across Europe through an elected Council and Bureau, annual symposia, special-interest groups, workshops, collaborative projects, publications, and research exchange covering Earth observation, environmental monitoring, land use, thermal and imaging spectroscopy, cultural and natural heritage, and related space-enabled applications. Current materials document its continuing laboratory network, 2023–2027 Council activity, and the 44th annual symposium held in 2025.
