Founded in Washington in 1970, it advocates for aviation safety, efficient certification and regulation, manufacturing and supply-chain capability, sustainability, workforce development, and access to airspace and infrastructure. GAMA also develops industry safety-management and consensus-standards resources and coordinates policy through offices in Washington and Brussels.
