The Georgian Paragliding Federation is Georgia’s national paragliding body and an associate member of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale. It administers pilot examinations and experience recognition, operator and flying-site suitability, equipment inspection, and operational monitoring while connecting Georgian pilots and competitions to international air-sport rules and safety practices. Georgia’s official aeronautical information publication assigns the federation multiple VFR paragliding areas across the country, giving it a direct role in the organized and safe use of national airspace for recreational flight.
