IAASS Space Safety Foundation (ISSF)

IAASS Space Safety Foundation (ISSF) is a California-established nonprofit foundation, legally created in 2007 as International Space Safety Foundation and renamed by its board in 2024. It supports the scientific advancement of space-systems safety design and operations through research and development, performance-based safety standards, compliance-certification work, academic and professional training, student support, and education funding coordinated with the International Association for the Advancement of Space Safety (IAASS). Its aerospace-native scope covers public, launch-range, crewed-flight, orbital-environment, debris, space-traffic, and mission-operations safety.
