Indian Society of Aerospace Medicine (ISAM)

The Indian Society of Aerospace Medicine (ISAM) is India's registered professional society for aviation and space medicine. Established in 1952 and formally registered in 1965, it brings together military and civil physicians, scientists, biomedical engineers, and other aeromedical specialists. The Society advances research, professional exchange, education, and flight safety through annual scientific conferences, research support, and the peer-reviewed Indian Journal of Aerospace Medicine. Its scope includes aircrew health and performance, clinical and operational aviation medicine, human factors, acceleration and environmental physiology, and the human aspects of India's spaceflight program.
