The Institute of Astrophysics of the Canary Islands (IAC) is a Spanish public research body and Severo Ochoa Centre of Excellence. It manages the Teide and Roque de los Muchachos observatories and conducts astrophysics research while developing and operating astronomical facilities through the Canary Islands observatory partnership.
