Institute of Navigation (ION)

The Institute of Navigation (ION) is a nonprofit professional society founded in 1945 that advances the art, science, and engineering of positioning, navigation, and timing across land, sea, air, and space. Its worldwide community shares peer-reviewed research and technical papers, runs conferences and education and outreach programs, and supports satellite and military navigation divisions, professional awards, and student development.
