International Federation of Air Traffic Safety Electronics Associations (IFATSEA)

The International Federation of Air Traffic Safety Electronics Associations (IFATSEA) is a global professional federation for the specialists who engineer, operate, and maintain the communications, navigation, surveillance, and air traffic management systems that support safe air navigation. Established in 1972, it unites national Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel associations across Africa, the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. IFATSEA advances professional competence and recognition, contributes technical and human-factors expertise to international aviation work, develops policy and training resources, and coordinates regional meetings and an annual General Assembly.
