The International Federation of Airworthiness (IFA) is an independent, nonpolitical United Kingdom charity focused on the continuing airworthiness of civil aircraft. Established in 1975, it connects people and organizations responsible for airworthiness policy, engineering, maintenance, regulation, and operational practice. IFA contributes impartial technical perspectives to regulators, airlines, maintenance organizations, governments, and industry forums; publishes technical material; convenes international events; supports working groups and professional development; and encourages students and early-career specialists through awards and scholarships.
