International Telecommunication Union

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency for information and communication technologies. Through its Radiocommunication Sector, it coordinates equitable and efficient use of radio-frequency spectrum and satellite orbits, including registration of orbital positions, while developing international standards and supporting global connectivity.
