International Telecommunications Satellite Organization

The International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (ITSO) is an intergovernmental organization that safeguards the public-service obligations and common heritage of the Parties to the ITSO Agreement following the privatization of Intelsat. Based in Washington, D.C., it works with member governments and satellite stakeholders to promote non-discriminatory access to international public telecommunications services and oversees the continuity of those obligations.
