Japan Amateur Satellite Association (JAMSAT)

The Japan Amateur Satellite Association (JAMSAT) is a Japanese nonprofit organization for amateur satellites, space communications, and related science and engineering. It supports the research, development, operation, and use of amateur spacecraft; works with universities, radio amateurs, and peer organizations in Japan and abroad; and promotes technical exchange and public participation in space technology. JAMSAT runs symposia, workshops, youth electronics and satellite-reception activities, project coordination, publications, and international amateur-satellite collaboration.
