The Kenya Air Traffic Controllers Association (KATCA) is Kenya's incorporated nonprofit and apolitical professional body for air traffic controllers. Formed after the breakup of the original East African Community and incorporated on 6 April 1979, it promotes safe, efficient, and orderly air navigation, high technical and professional standards, controller welfare, and constructive engagement with aviation authorities and other stakeholders. KATCA supports technical exchange, professional development, safety policy and reporting, regional cooperation, and public awareness. Its national office is based at the control tower at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.
