NASA Michoud Assembly Facility

NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans is America’s rocket factory and the nation’s premier site for manufacturing and assembly of large-scale space structures and systems. NASA owns Michoud and manages it through Marshall Space Flight Center, where government and commercial partners produce and check out major launch-vehicle hardware, including Space Launch System structures.
