The New Zealand Air Line Pilots’ Association (NZALPA) is an incorporated professional association and trade union representing pilots, air traffic controllers, flight service operators, and other eligible aviation professionals in New Zealand. Founded in 1945, it advances aviation safety and security, professional and technical standards, member welfare, legal and workplace representation, and public-policy advocacy. NZALPA contributes operational expertise on aircraft, airports, air traffic services, human performance, safety management, and regulation, and collaborates internationally through IFALPA, IFATCA, and peer associations.
