The New Zealand Aviation Federation (NZAF) is an incorporated national umbrella association for general aviation. Its member bodies span private, sport, recreational, agricultural, aerial-work, engineering, historical, model-aircraft, parachuting, gliding, ballooning, uncrewed-aircraft, and commercial aviation interests. NZAF coordinates shared policy positions, represents the sector before the Civil Aviation Authority and government, promotes practical safety improvements, supports aviation education and youth participation, and funds initiatives including scholarships, instructor development, and instrument-flight procedures for unattended aerodromes.
