Royal Aero Club of the United Kingdom (RAeC)

The Royal Aero Club of the United Kingdom (RAeC) is the national coordinating membership body for British air sport and the United Kingdom's active member of the World Air Sports Federation (FAI). Founded in 1901 as the Aero Club of Great Britain and granted the Royal prefix in 1910, it brings together the national governing bodies for the major air-sport disciplines. RAeC coordinates international representation, records, competition, technical standards, awards, and regulatory engagement while promoting and protecting recreational and competitive flying and preserving a continuous institutional link to Britain's earliest aviation achievements.
