SAE International

SAE International is a global nonprofit professional and standards-development association for engineers and technical experts in aerospace, automotive, and commercial-vehicle mobility. Founded in 1905 and operating under its present corporate name since 2006, it develops voluntary consensus standards, recommended practices, and technical reports; convenes specialist committees and conferences; publishes engineering research; and provides professional education. Its aerospace program spans aircraft and space systems, materials, propulsion, avionics, safety, quality, uncrewed systems, advanced air mobility, and emerging technologies.
