The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) is a United States-based 501(c)(6) trade association formed in 1995 to represent the commercial satellite industry. It brings together satellite operators, service providers, manufacturers, launch-services providers, and ground-equipment suppliers, and advocates before Congress, the White House, the Federal Communications Commission, and executive agencies on policy, regulation, spectrum, export controls, market access, space safety, Earth observation, and satellite infrastructure. SIA also publishes the annual State of the Satellite Industry Report and convenes member working groups and policy events.
