Scientific Society of Astronomy and Space (SSASEgypt)

The Scientific Society of Astronomy and Space (SSASEgypt) is an Egyptian registered civil society established in 2015 to advance astronomy and space-science awareness and collaboration. It brings together astronomy graduates, researchers, and students; publishes science-cultural material; and organizes seminars, schools, specialized workshops, outreach, and knowledge exchange among Egyptian, Arab, and international astronomy communities. Hosted at the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics in Helwan, it remains a distinct nonprofit association rather than the government institute, a university, or an observatory facility.
