Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences & Technology (SAASST)

Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences & Technology (SAASST) is a University of Sharjah-affiliated UAE academy inaugurated in 2015 to advance astronomy, space-science education, research, and innovation. The Sharjah Space and Astronomy Hub houses a planetarium, astronomy and space exhibitions, optical and radio observatories, cosmic-park facilities, and research laboratories spanning space sciences, space weather, high-energy astrophysics, meteorites, CubeSats, and related technology outreach.
