South African Aerospace, Maritime and Defence Industries Association (AMD)

The South African Aerospace, Maritime and Defence Industries Association (AMD) is the trade association representing South Africa's defence and national-security industrial base across aerospace, maritime, and land systems. Incorporated in 1992, it promotes and protects members' collective interests, supports industrial collaboration, skills and technology development, localization, responsible trade, and exports, and provides an organized interface between manufacturers, service providers, research bodies, and the South African government.
